SPA Awarded Contract to Support Navy Personnel (N1)
Nov. 8, 2011: Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) was awarded a contract for support to the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (DCNO) N1 and the Chief of Personnel (CNP) in the execution of that office's responsibilities for overall manpower readiness of the Navy.
The work will support the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) N1 and other Navy organizations as their requirements apply to Navy manpower, personnel, training and education (MPTE). Work will be performed predominantly in Arlington, Va.
If all of the options are exercised, the award has a ceiling value of $55M over three years. Work was also awarded to two other contractors under the indefinite quantity, multi-award contract.
SPA Named Healthiest Employer
July 28, 2011: SPA was named as one of the Top 40 Healthiest Employers in Greater Washington for 2011 by the Washington Business Journal. SPA offers discount gym memberships, an annual “Get Moving” challenge, access to a variety of health and wellness tools through its Employee Assistance Program, and a company-subsidized weight loss program. Participants have collectively lost 3,000 pounds through the program.

June 2011: For the fourth consecutive year, Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. was chosen by the Washington Business Journal as one of the 50 Best Places to Work in Washington, and for the second year, Best Places to Work in San Diego. The recognition is based on surveys sent to full-time employee. The competition looks for companies that “go beyond the norm to foster an enjoyable and meaningful work environment for their employees.” Companies were evaluated on areas such as team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, people practices, and retention.

Nov. 24th, 2010: Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., was featured in a story on NBC-4 for its ongoing company-sponsored weight loss initiative.

SPA Awarded 5-Year, $134M Contract for Support to the Navy's
Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0)
July 2010: Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) was awarded a contract for support to the U.S. Navy’s Above
Water Sensors Directorate within the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). Fourteen other companies will
assist SPA in execution of the contract. The contract award is for $134M over five years.
The SPA Team will provide Program Management, Engineering, Test and Evaluation, Logistics, and Financial Management services for
Development Systems within PEO IWS 2.0. These Systems include the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR), Cobra Judy Replacement (CJR),
Dual Band Radar (DBR), Multi-Mission Signal Processor (MMSP) for AN/SPY-1 Radar, Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement (SEWIP) and NULKA Decoy System.
